Black Indie Film: New Film Distribution Company Launches to Support Underrepresented Filmmakers

Homestead Entertainment is a newly formed distribution company targeting the explosive multicultural content marketplace and brings a unique focus to content creation, distribution and engagement for the radically underserved African-American, Latino and Multicultural (ALM) audiences.

Homestead was founded by film producer Rob Johnson (known for his work on movies such as Til Death Do Us Part starring Taye Diggs), along with media industry veteran Leonard Burnett Jr (Uptown Magazine, HERO Collective, Vibe Magazine, Vanguarde Media Group), and technology industry veteran and startup founder Sean Armstrong.
